I founded STR Sistemas many years ago where we manage infra and systems based on Linux and cloud. Automation, databases, servers, Kubernetes, scaling and high availability are our natural environments.

Xavier was born in Valencia, but currently living in Madrid. He has over 7 years of experience. He focuses on Cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps, Q&A, microservices, Conversational AI and mentoring startups thanks to the Google For Startups Program. He is an organizer of GDG Madrid, DevopsDays Madrid and the Alexa community in Spanish. In his spare time, he enjoys music, beer, and friends. Author of the book "The Alexa Revolution". He has been recognized as a GitHub Star, Alexa Champion, GoogleDeveloper Expert & Google Cloud Champion Innovator in ML, Ambassador Labs Advocate, AWS Community Builder, and Azure Content Hero.

Computer engineer and coordinator of the Madrid Devops group, his professional career has been developed mostly in the world of administration and systems architecture in all types of companies such as BBVA, Colt Telecom, Devo(Logtrust), Orange and currently in Red Hat. Specializing in automation, immutable infrastructure, containers, hardening and cloud computing, in his career as a teacher he has years of experience in the subject of Cloud computing and in various subjects on automation and containers.

He’s passionate about containers, Kubernetes, programming, and helping tech communities to level up their knowledge in tech. Before joining AWS, he spent 17 years working in different startups and enterprise companies to build modern solutions that are still used by many people today. He’s an active public speaker and has participated in events and conferences like AWS re:Ivent, AWS Madrid Summit, Kubernetes Community Days, and many other local meetups around the world.
